What Are Dentures?
Dentures are custom-crafted removable prosthetic appliances designed to replace missing teeth and surrounding gum tissues. They are meticulously shaped to match your natural facial profile, restoring oral functions like chewing and speaking while giving you a complete, healthy smile.
Depending on how many teeth need replacement, we provide complete dentures (when all teeth are missing in an arch) and partial dentures (when some natural teeth still remain). Modern dentures are made of highly durable, lightweight acrylic resins or flexible thermoplastic materials that blend seamlessly with your gums.
For patients seeking advanced stability, we also provide implant-supported dentures, which anchor securely onto dental implants, eliminating worries about dentures slipping, clicking, or sliding while speaking and eating.
Why Choose Us
Patients receive a detailed jaw and gum evaluation, precise impressions, wax trials, and clear denture care instructions.
Dr. Varun Tomke carefully designs custom dentures to match your natural bite, alignment, and facial aesthetics.
We use premium, bio-compatible acrylics and flexible materials for a natural look, durability, and lightweight comfort.
Every denture is fabricated through multiple precision trial stages to ensure a secure, friction-free fit on your gums.
From single-tooth partials to full arches and implant-supported options, we tailor treatment to your needs.
The Procedure
We examine your gums, remaining teeth, jawbone density, and take dental X-rays to recommend the best type of denture for you.
Highly accurate impressions and measurements of your jaws are taken to map how your teeth should close together.
A temporary wax model of your dentures is created. You will try this in to check the fit, tooth color, shape, and overall appearance before final processing.
The final processed denture is fitted in your mouth. We make fine adjustments to relieve any pressure points and verify your bite alignment.
We schedule checkups to monitor gum comfort, making minor modifications to ensure a snug, comfortable fit as you adapt.

How do I care for my new dentures?
Brush your dentures daily with a soft-bristled brush and non-abrasive denture cleaner. Keep them in water or a denture soaking solution overnight to preserve their shape.
Types of custom dentures available
Lightweight, metal-free partial dentures made of flexible materials that blend naturally with your natural gum color.
Implant-retained dentures offer maximum retention, preventing slipping and bone loss for ultimate peace of mind.
If your existing denture cracks, loses a tooth, or becomes loose, we offer quick adjustment and professional repair support.
Benefits
Custom dentures do more than just replace teeth—they restore structure to your face and improve your overall quality of life.
Denture adjustments and longevity
It is completely normal to feel minor soreness or excess saliva during the first few weeks of wearing new dentures. Your tongue and cheek muscles are learning to keep the appliance in place. Daily practice makes chewing and speaking feel natural.
As your jawbone naturally shrinks over time, dentures may become loose. We offer professional denture relining and rebasing to adjust the fit without needing a full replacement.
Frequently Asked Questions
Complete dentures are used to replace all teeth in the upper or lower jaw. Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth still remain, filling in the gaps and anchoring onto the remaining healthy teeth using metal or flexible clasps.
It usually takes about 4 to 8 weeks to adjust to new dentures. Initially, speaking and eating might feel slightly different, and you may experience mild soreness. Regular wear and starting with soft foods cut into small pieces will help your mouth adjust faster.
No. It is highly recommended to remove your dentures at night. This gives your gums and jawbone a chance to rest and recover, preventing fungal infections and gum irritation. Store them in a clean container with water or a mild denture-cleaning solution.
With traditional dentures, it is best to avoid extremely hard, sticky, or chewy foods (like raw carrots, nuts, hard candy, or chewing gum) which can displace or damage the dentures. For a less restricted diet, implant-supported dentures provide much stronger chewing forces.
The cost of dentures depends on the type (complete vs. partial), material (standard acrylic vs. flexible BPS/Valplast), and whether implants are used for retention. A partial denture can range from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 15,000+, and complete dentures can start from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 50,000+ per arch. A precise estimate is provided after a detailed clinical evaluation.
With proper care, dentures typically last between 5 to 7 years. Because your gums and jaw bone structures change over time, your dentures may need to be professionally relined or adjusted every few years to maintain a snug and comfortable fit.
Yes, in most cases, cracked dentures, broken clasps, or popped-out denture teeth can be professionally repaired at our clinic. Do not attempt to repair them at home using superglue, as this can damage the denture permanently and irritate your mouth.
